The World Ending in 2012- Christians Read Your Bibles

The World Ending in 2012- Christians Read Your Bibles

There has been much stirring around about the world ending in 2012. This is not the first time that someone has tried to predict the end of the World. The problem exists when Christians start to believe these types of predictions. They are lies from the pit of hell. A Christian should never trust secular writings for their information. Yes as a Christian we live in the world but are not of the world. This means that in order to know what the Lord says about this subject we must stop searching the internet and other forms of information to be enlightened. We must read our Bibles. When a Christian reads the Bible and believes what the Bible says then there will be no fear of tomorrow. Every Christian should be prepared for the World to end at any time and ready to meet the Lord Jesus Christ without fear.

Scientist have come up with all sorts of theories that attempt to convince those that are easily persuaded. These theories should not be believed to be the authority over the Word the God. The Bible will always be the final authority when discussing spiritual things. The subject of the World ending in 2012 is a spiritual issue. The Bible says a lot about the end of the World.

Mark 13:5-8: And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: 6For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 7And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. 8For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

Mark 13:21-23:And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not: 22For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. 23But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.

The scripture that really should stand out in the Bible for the believer is Matthew 24:34-36.

Matthew 24:34-36: Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. 35Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. 36But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

This scripture says “no man knoweth the day or the hour but my Father only”. The Father in these scriptures refer to Father God. These scriptures do not even indicate that Jesus even knows anything about that day, how much more should we reject the fact that a mere man will know the exact day or hour. Many are accepting and have accepted in the past these false claims for the simple fact that they do not read or believe the Bible. Heaven is the final authority! We as Christians must believe the Bible.

If you are reading this article today and you are not a Christian. Please become one before time expires. No one is promised tomorrow and if the World did end in 2012 would you go to heaven. You must be sure of your answer. You must know that you know that you know beyond a shadow of a doubt. This is possible if you accept the fact that Jesus Christ came for your ticket to heaven. All you have to do is confess with you mouth and believe in your heart the Jesus Christ is your Lord. Now please say this prayer with me:

Father God in heaven I believe that you sent Jesus to die for my sins and that Jesus is God. Lord Jesus I ask you to forgive me of all my sins and the sins of my ancestors and come and live in my heart and be my personal Savior. I am truly sorry Lord and I receive your forgiveness and also forgive myself. I also ask you to fill me with the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in a heavenly language in Jesus name. Lord from this day forward I will read the Bible and seek you for the understanding of the Word of God in Jesus name-Amen.

Christians Being Overcome By the Flesh

By Pastor Dennis Williams

Christians Being Overcome By the Flesh

What is the flesh? Most Christians have a hard time understanding the concept of the flesh. The flesh is simply that part of us that responds to the natural world around us. Our physical body and our desires are what make up the flesh. Unfortunately, we as Christians have more to contend with than just our flesh. We also have the Spirit to deal with.

1 Corinthians 3:1:And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. 2I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. 3For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

One indication of being “dominated by the flesh” is that spirituality will be missing. Paul told the Church at Corinth that the reason that they were not able to grow in the spirit was because they were “carnal” or “fleshy”. If we look at this scripture we see certain characteristics associated with carnality and they are :envying, strife and divisions. As a deliverance ministry we have seen spirits that were also associated with these names. In other words with most fleshy activity there is a spirit that will be associated with it.

Galatians 5:16-25: This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. 17For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. 18But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. 19Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

We see again in these scriptures “works of the flesh”. However I will just take one of these as an illustration. For example, witchcraft is not just carried out by the flesh alone, there is a spirit attached to this work of the flesh. This spirit is what motivates and causes a person to be overtaken. This is another characteristic of a person that appears to be “driven” in there activity. This activity takes place in the flesh but has a spirit that is driving the person to continue to desire to participate in the sinful act. The only remedy for this is the ministry of “casting out demons”. No amount of personal or psychiatric counseling will cause that person relief besides casting the demon out.

The flesh screams to be satisfied, however, if we through the Spirit of God mortify (put to death) the power of the flesh we will live a victorious Christian life.

Romans 12:1: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Christian Depression

By Pastor Dennis Williams

Christian Depression

Binding & Loosing

There are many Christians that experience deep depressions. We must first of all know that this feeling is more than likely a spirit of depression.

Isaiah 61:3: To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;

The symptoms of depression can include: sorrow of grief, excessive mourning, despair, depression, hopelessness, dejection, loneliness, self-pity, disappointment, and insomnia. The spirit of depression can stop of Christian in their tracks and cause them to be non-productive in the spirit realms and in the natural realms.

For example, when we have a loved one to die there is an natural period of grief. However, we should not continue to mourn for an indefinite amount of time. Grief in a short period can give us time to get rid of emotions that we should not keep inside us. Otherwise, we give ground to the spirit of depression. The secret is to allow the Holy Spirit through our relationship with the Lord to heal us. Additionally, we should seek to connect with the Christians that we have been associated with to find comfort. We should release this grief to the Lord and go on with life the best way that we can.

Isaiah 53:4: Surely He hath borne our grief and carried our sorrows.

When we trust in the Lord and not dwell on the past problems or sorrows we can be victorious in the war of depression. Most people (including Christian), are dwelling on past problems and woes prior to falling into the spirit of depression. We should cast all our cares on the Lord. However, in addition to casting our cares on the Lord we should also be doing our warfare over the mind to combat the thoughts of the devil. This is truly where the battle of depression will be defeated: is in the mind.

1 Peter 5:7:Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5:For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

When a Christian can, with the help of the Holy Spirit, train themselves to take authority over the thoughts that come in the mind, there the spirit of depression will not have a stronghold. Training of the mind is done by day to day practice of spiritual warfare tactics of binding and loosing and praying the scriptures.

Matthew 16:18-19 “And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. 19 “And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

Matthew 18:18-20 “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. 19 “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. 20 “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

The Weapon of Prayer in Christianity

By Pastor Dennis Williams

The Weapon of Prayer in Christianity

The Weapon of Prayer in Christianity

We must always remember as Christians that the Lord has not left of abandoned us. The Bible shows that “His eyes behold and his eyelids try the children of men”. Prayer is important to God in the dealing with people so we should contend to make prayer and important tool in our everyday lives.

Isaiah 58:9: Then shalt thou all, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am Then shalt shou delight thyself in the Lord and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

When a Christian neglects their prayer lives, failure in all areas of life can be experienced. The Christian that does not pray is essentially robbing himself of the potential help that the Lord may be able to render in a certain situation that they may be going through. A Christian’s well-being, faith, fruits of the Spirit, victories in conflict and all other things that may arise in life will come to fruition through prayer.

When we have praying saints we will enhance the movement of the Lord in the local church and in His move to evangelize the souls of men that are to come into the kingdom. Prayer in the life of a believer has to be primary and not secondary. This placing prayer as a priority will always have the Lord at the forefront in dealing with your marriage, your family, finances, job, church and all the things that we as people consider important in our lives. We must put the Lord first in prayer in order to see Him move in our lives in the physical realms.

Matthew 6:33:But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you

Matthew 6:19-21 19Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Matthew 6:24:No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Prayer is a divine ordinance made by the Lord. Praying saints are needed to carry out this divine ordinance and to fulfill the plan of salvation of men. There will be great results in the physical if praying saints will commit and submit to the Lord in the spiritual. A clean, submitted and prayerful heart will go a long way in fulfilling the prayer ministry that the Lord has called every born again believer to. If you are reading this article and are a Christian please begin to ask the Lord if you are fulfilling the prayer ministry that He has called you to.

Slain by the Power of the Holy Ghost

By Pastor Dennis Williams

Slain by the Power of the Holy Ghost

There are many supernatural spiritual phenomena happening in this day. We must also realize that not all of the supernatural events that we witness are not from the God in Heaven. As a Christian we are “suppose to know” what is of God and what is not of God. However, this is not the case in the Body of Christ. Most Christians are afraid of the supernatural and tend to stay as far away from anything to do with something that cannot be experienced with the five senses. The problem with this theory is that the things of God are spiritual and supernatural first and then manifest themselves in the realm of the natural.

The Slaying in the Spirit has been frowned upon, misunderstood, abused and misused in the Body of Christ for a long period of time. However there is scriptural evidence as well as physical evidence that this is a valid sign and wonder for today. The following are just a few scriptures that show the evidence of being slain in the spirit.

Gen 17:1-3:And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. 2And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.3And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him.

Josh.5:13-15:And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? 14And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my Lord unto his servant? 15And the captain of the LORD’s host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.

Ez.1:28:As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.

Ez 43:1-5:1Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looketh toward the east:2And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice was like a noise of many waters: and the earth shined with his glory.3And it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city: and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face. 4And the glory of the LORD came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east. 5So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house.

Ez 44:4:Then brought he me the way of the north gate before the house: and I looked, and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house of the LORD: and I fell upon my face.

Mt.17:5-6:5While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him. 6And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.
Rev.1:7 7Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

Rev 7:11:11And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God

Rev 11:16-17:16And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, 17Saying, We give thee thanks, O LORD God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.

Acts 9:3And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:4And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?5And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.6And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.7And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.

Every Christian needs to pray that they can receive everything that the Lord has for them to receive. Otherwise, we may miss something that will increase our faith and cause us to be victorious in Christ and in our own personal lives.

We have Authority from the Word of God to Minister Deliverance

By Pastor Dennis Williams

We have Authority from the Word of God to Minister Deliverance

The Lord Jesus Christ came to destroy the works of the Devil. The Lord intended for believers to have the authority that He walked with on this earth against the powers of Hell.

1 John 3:8:He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Luke 4:18 declares: The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.

In Luke 4:18 Jesus was quoting Old Testament scripture of Isa 61:1-2. These scriptures declare the ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ. In the Word of God we also see that Jesus gathered the twelve disciples and gave them authority to cast out devils and to heal all disease and sickness.

Matt 10:1: And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

The authority to move in the power that Jesus delegated to us has not been withdrawn but has been truly emphasized in the scriptures.

Matthew 10:7-8: And as ye go, preach, saying, the kingdom of heaven is at hand.8Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

These particular scriptures indicate that the disciples may have also received deliverance and healing if they were going to give what they have received.

Mark 16:17:And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues.

The first sign that is mentioned in these scriptures is that they shall cast out devils. This is speaking of the deliverance ministry and the second sign says that they shall speak with new tongues which is the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. The house gets cleaned and then filled with the power of the Holy Ghost.

In the scriptures we can see an example of a sickness that is caused by an evil spirit. This particular sickness is a fever. We also see the same ministry happening in Luke 13 with a spirit of infirmity. This is common in the deliverance ministry to attempt to cast out a spirit that is causing a particular sickness.

Luke 4:39:And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them.

Luke 13:11-13 And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. 12And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. 13And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.

The pattern to deliverance ministry has already been set by Jesus Christ. If we do the ministry like He did we will be successful and the Lord Jesus will be glorified and the Kingdom of God will be increased.
